What is Backuply?
Backuply creates and restores backups. Drechthosting uses it for daily backup copies on our cPanel environment, providing an extra safety net alongside regular website management.
Why backups matter to your business
Your website includes files such as images and code, and databases containing content, settings or orders. A suitable backup can help recover an earlier working state after an unsuccessful update and reduce the need to rebuild lost information.
What can the software do?
Backuply for cPanel supports account backups and selective restoration of files or databases. Available recovery options depend on the backups and account configuration. Ask us which restore points and data are available for your account; do not assume a fixed retention period.
No additional WordPress plugin required
Backuply for hosting servers is a different product from the Backuply WordPress plugin. You do not need the separate plugin for our cPanel backups. WordPress Hosting remains a package without email; backup software does not add mailboxes.
How to request recovery
Tell us your domain, the problem, when the website last worked and which data you need restored. Check cPanel for restore points or ask for assistance. Agree what will be restored and which recent changes could be lost. Afterwards, test your website and important forms.
Prevention remains essential
A backup does not prevent an infection or fix outdated software. Keep your website updated, protect access and make an additional current copy before major changes where possible. After an incident, address the cause as well as restoring data.
