VPS hosting questions
How does Webhosting differ from a Cloud VPS?
Webhosting provides a configured environment for your website. A Cloud VPS provides your own virtual server environment with the resources of your plan. Our Cloud VPS plans are self-managed: you handle updates, security and backups.
Is technical management included?
No. These Cloud VPS plans are self-managed. You are responsible for the operating system, installed software, updates, security and your own backups. Discuss any additional help with us beforehand; it is not automatically included.
Which software can I choose?
Linux is included. Select available standard software during ordering. Windows, cPanel and Plesk have a monthly surcharge. A custom operating system is not available. Current choices and costs are shown when configuring your plan.
How do I receive my VPS login details?
Your VPS login details are sent in a separate email. Use them to log in and configure your server.
Where is the server hosted and what is the term?
Cloud VPS plans are hosted within the European Union and include IPv4 and IPv6. The term is one month. Check the applicable terms, software choices and final total during ordering.
