Choose the right environment<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t

If possible, work first in a development environment. Visitors can then continue to use the existing website while checking changes.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t

Show a clear notification<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t

For planned maintenance, use an appropriate provision of your theme, plugin or hosting. Please briefly tell visitors that the website is temporarily unavailable and provide a contact route if necessary.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t

Keep access for control<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t

Check which visitors see the maintenance page and how to test yourself. Make sure that management access and necessary functions remain accessible.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t
